Now or Never - Choice Is Urz..

The So called "Middle Class Movement" is gaining strength and more so because it is supported by media and the people from all quarter of the society... But the AAM AADMI sitting in Air Conditioned Offices still not sure and if they are not on the streets protesting doesn't mean they don't support it , They support it in a very different context. The context that make them talk about it , debate about it , question it and more so highlighting the topic which was someway in the back of their mind for a long time. However , The biggest question still remains, Is Lokpal Bill the only answer? What if Lokpal is corrupt? Is there any device that can check the morality of those part of the Lokpal? What about the future say 10 years from now with so much power with a single body of few people? , if we cant trust the one selected by us(considering we voted for the election in past years) can we trust the hand full of people in the Lokpal? But As they say the answer come to those who keep looking for it... The picture/conversation/point of views on the Television screen is not the answer ... Pardon Me when i say Media is giving a picture which we made for our self , it show us what we want to see and listen to. It give us a mere glimpse of what is happening and then ask AAM AADMI a question because more this is debated more will be the Money out of this all Halla Gulla . Do you really know where the answer is??? I found the answer on a white khaki topi that says "Mein Anna Hun" @ Ramlila Maidan. The topi that everyone is wearing says the Old Soldier is not the only one believing in what he is doing , we all are part of it.. The Change begins within , the people who give bribe are equally responsible as the one who take it.. Dont take me wrong on this but we have been people of great intellectual abilities and those who think immensely before taking an action.. Is this draft good? aj tak nahi hua to ab kya hoga? have we ever voted so how can we say that the system is corrupt ? It is not our fault , it is the way this country has developed over the years. The country that has been under British Rules for 150 and so years and took 100 years to realize that Britishers are doing no good to our country and another 100 years to throw them out.. It is not because we never had strength to do so but because we were too lazy to act together and we have always been the one who let other take the decision when we just sit and debate if it is right or wrong. The society that is under a rule has always suffered from a mindset of perplexed behavior and thinking patterns. We never had a single point of view for anything because we still operate from a mind driven approach then a single soul driven action. We still respect Bhagat Singh of what he did and we want a bhagat singh to be born again but yes not in our own house.. why?? because we have plans for the future , plan for my children and I will want him to be a good working professional in US then to be a Bhagat Singh. Me being no exception to this. I think i have been emotionally driven by this point .. ok . so where were we ? yes so I strongly believe i was also part of such a mindset but not after I heard this "Kuch Na karne ke 100 reason or kuch karne ka bus ek" (there are 100 reasons not to do something but only one to do what is required). With this in Mind i went to Ramlila Maidan and I swear I was bombarded with questions when moving every inch closer to my destination. My mom was apprehensive for me going there all alone. But I have to do it alone(not because i dont believe in groups but because i feel these decisions should be self driven and every one should decide to Go or Not) but I was not alone when i step outside New Delhi Railway Metro Station.. There were so many like me or so many Anna shouting at top of their voice "Anna Tum aage badho hum tumare sath hain ".. This was not a picture of a revolution or a march it was a celebration , celebration of people coming together ,coming together for a cause. Those reading will now think what is the cause? Do they really know what they are fighting for? do they know what is this bill all about? I say they dont but they believe they will , those who stepped out of their house on a Scorching Sunday morning are hoping to make a difference. At least they think they can if 74 year old Anna can , they can too... The wives with their children , the husbands with their old ones ,the old ones with the youth every one was there.. Day made way to the night but the density still was the same. India has never seen such a upsurge of people and think will never do. Morning saw a speech by Kiran Bedi and she said that there are questions that people coming on streets don’t know exactly what the bill is all about? She also told about the suggestions proposed to the government to have CBI anti Corruption wing to be part of the Jan Lok Pal. This will help the 3000 officers from CBI wing to work with Jan Lok Pal which will resolve the issue of lack of task force as suggested earlier by government as one of the hindrance for implementing an independent body.. (I dont see media showing that on Television only for a reason of creating more confusion about the intentions of this Protest). Arvind Kejriwal in his every day speech do talk and educate people about the bill and tell them about the discussion they have been having with the government early morning and then again in the evening. I am not taking a stand for someone or talking against some one but stating the facts I saw on Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. There has been efforts and a strong one by those who think this as a serious topic to act on. I also saw people voluntarily giving food water to those standing in long queue and people making way for the ones older then them. Is that the picture of the India where everyone want to break the queue to give telephone bills or get a ration ? Yes it is.. and you know why there is this change because there is no hurry about it , no body has to go somewhere else , no body is running to go somewhere they are all at Home and they are behaving as one big family. How difficult it is for us to do that in our daily life? Why we want everyone to leave the road when we are getting late for office? why every one is in hurry to reach and where? The people here standing with me in the queue are those same people so what has changed? I say Nothing has changed it is the Mindset that has changed !!!! If You think this 74 year old man or a Jan Lokpal Bill will give you a corruption free country I would say He cant do it , It will not. We have all heard Anna saying to go and Sing "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram" outside every MP house in your state but did any one heard when he was saying "Yeh kranti tab ayegi jab hum sab badlenge phele logon ko badalne ke liye tayar hona hoga or fir yeh desh badlega.. balidan dena hoga.. Anna jitna nahi par han balidan to dena hoga.. Jo log isse jud rahen hain woh bus 3 baton ka dhyan rakhne.. pheli ki tyag karna hoga , dusra badlav lane ke liye khud badlna hoga or jin logon ne is desh ke liye jan di unhe yaad rakhna hoga , tesra jo hum keh rahe hain woh karna bhi hoga nahi to shabdon ka mehatv khatam ho jayega.. Shabd tabhi tak sarthak hain jab tak hum wahi karte hain jo hum kehte hain".. This is one of the important part of his speech on Sunday.. My next destination then was India gate @ 5 PM. The crowd was no less then in Ramlila Maidan. People with flags , poster and shouting on top of their voice. There was one such scene i cannot forget where people were coming out of their homes to give water to those on road protesting ..where is the difference we have been talking about from years?? religious or regional.. The Kasturba Gandhi Marg was blocked (Indian Team World Cup win also did not had such a response)but not a single mishap happened. Is this not what we should be proud off? and only one man should be credited for that. He is not only sitting with a big Gandhi Ji's poster at the back but he has the values taught by him. His appeal to the people to have this as a peaceful protest worked where everything else from Government didn't. Discrediting Government is also not what this movement demands but what it demands is an awakened audience(there is still a system in which we can complaint to head of a department for any misconduct in Public sector but how many of us are aware of it or for a change use it.) and a common man with a Value of his own. The Value that say no to corruption , No to Bias, No to Differences and No to everything that is against the bigger good of the society and that is to live and let live with pride and honor. "Bedaag Jeevan ho" is what Anna Ji keep saying in his speech over and over again. We(No one knew the other one walking beside him/her but we all knew that we are all one) walked for over a stretch of 3 km but did you see tired faces 8 PM in the night , they are all faces of people glowing with satisfaction , Glowing with gratitude and love and they were looking at one man for a word and what did he said "Pata hai mein ek 8 by 10 ke kamre mein rehta hun par mein bhot khush or anand mein rehta hun kyunki seva mein jo khushi hai woh kahin nahi".. How many times in our life we did something without asking something in return?? We work to get money , we want money to have all the luxuries of life , more so we want something from the relationships as well and even so we want something from our parents as well. The seeds which are buried in the ground give birth to so many other seeds and those which didn't are used to make flour. There are some still in doubt but I assure you that doubt always give rise to more doubts and question to more questions it is when you take a step and reach the place where history is in making you will see the doubts go away and the questions are not longer there. It is you and only your motive to do something without reasons or results. Another question that commonly being debated is if this become practice and people start fasting for making the amendments they want every other day? Why this movement is so hyped there are other people fasting for the issues for so many time?? First Of All Fasting is not what happens every other day.(Do it for one day and you would know how difficult it is) It needs a strong will power to do it and more so for others. Also you will never see Lakhs of people coming on road for a cause every day so it is wrong to speculate such things. This movement is so hyped because it include a man with no vested interest for himself but who is there for people. Most of the people who worked with him in the past say that he is too self centered and stubborn but it is acceptable and appreciated till he is fighting for a cause that is right. However If we look within we will find they are just reasons we give our self to be on the safer side. When I was returning back , A small kid came to me and said "Bhaiya yeh topi de do?" I was wearing the Mein Anna Hun Cap .. I said "han lo".. And I also gave him the batch I was wearing saying "Anna I am with U".. He was so happy to have that and ran screaming Anna Anna.. The kid was not well dressed and not eating well as well but the smile on his face made my day .. the complete protest is just for them to have what they want to be happy and what they are looking for is just three time of food and a hand full of clothes and he is the one in need of the money that is in the banks all wasted. This is not a protest against anyone except you , this is time for all of us to self introspection and find an answer to this long lasted corruption which is rooted deep within in some of us someway or another. This protest will be over with time but the question will still be the same that if You have acted and changed.. If you have re analyzed your priorities and is this the life we always wanted? Fast, Corrupted , without soul or if we want To implement the change within. However , The Choice is Always UrZ.. Now Or NEVER !!!!!
